PSA 10 Pokémon Card Prices
Grading turns a subjective condition call into a number everyone agrees on, and nowhere does that matter more than at the very top of the scale. A PSA 10 — Gem Mint, no visible flaws — routinely sells for several times what the same card fetches raw, because true Gem Mint copies are rarer than raw supply alone would suggest, and buyers are willing to pay for that certainty. The table below lines up the raw market price against the PSA 10 price for a set of well-known modern and vintage chase cards, so you can see the premium directly rather than estimating it.

Why the premium varies so much
The gap isn’t fixed — it varies by card, by how recently PSA population reports have grown, and by overall demand for that specific printing. Trainer Gallery alt-arts and low-print promos tend to show some of the widest raw-to-PSA-10 spreads, while cards with a larger surviving raw supply usually show a narrower one.

Frequently asked questions
What does 'PSA 10' mean?
PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) is a third-party grading company. A submitted card is inspected for centering, corners, edges, and surface, then assigned a grade from 1 to 10 — PSA 10 (“Gem Mint”) is the top grade, reserved for a card with no visible flaws under close inspection.
Why is a PSA 10 worth so much more than a raw copy?
Grading removes the guesswork: a buyer knows exactly what condition they're getting without inspecting the physical card themselves, and PSA's slab protects it from further wear. For a chase card, true Gem Mint copies are also genuinely scarce relative to raw supply — most raw copies have some flaw that would keep them from a 10 — so the premium reflects both trust and rarity.
Is grading worth it for my card?
It depends on the card's raw value, its condition going in, and the grading fee and turnaround time you're willing to accept — a low-value card usually isn't worth grading even at a 10, while a high-value chase card can be. See our grading calculator and is grading worth it guide for a closer look at the trade-off.
How current are these graded prices?
Graded values are refreshed daily from a rolling average of recent sold listings for graded copies, separate from the raw TCGplayer price pipeline. See our pricing methodology page for the full breakdown of where each figure comes from.
